DearBill.TV: Free Advice and Answers to your toughest questions
My name is Bill.
I grew up in an abusive family.
When I was 17 years old, I killed my father. I was very lucky that the court considered me a juvenile; it meant that I would not go to jail and would have a second chance at life. I was held in a detention facility for three months and then sent to a psychiatric hospital for one year. During my rehabilitation year, I worked very hard to understand why my family was so filled with hate and why I would react in such a violent way.
The years following my release were very hard and depressing. I had no family, no support systems, nor anything else to turn to. Life was lonely and difficult. Now my life is fulfilling. I have a wonderful woman, three step-children and a great dog. Everyday I strive to create a loving and harmonious environment. My life is a giftI know because I got a second chance. Let me help you with yours!
